Some operators like NJ TRANSIT and MTA Metro-North Railroad will let you pay part of the cost of a monthly ticket with your Card and the remaining amount with a personal check or cash when at a ticket window or through their Ticket-by-Mail program. Please check with your transit operator before you enroll for a Card to find out their policies so you can make the correct payroll deduction.
